Who are you?

I’m Dave, the owner of The Plant Workshop.

What do you do at The Plant Workshop?

You'll find me in-store, running the business, taking product photographs, running workshops, lighting candles and dusting shelves! It's the little things that make a difference!

What’s your favourite plant?

I'm obsessed with Aspidistra and Aglaonema - easy to care for with minimal fuss. 

What’s it like to work at The Plant Workshop?

It's exciting and no two days are the same. We've always got events to plan, customer orders to dispatch, the store to dress and ordering to do. I'm lucky to be surrounded by a dedicated, hard-working and supportive team.

Most overused word or phrase?

"Oh my god! They're gorgeous, aren't they?" - every time a customer picks up a plant. I get very overexcited about everything we sell.

One thing you can’t live without?

Music plays such a huge part of my life and I use it as self-care. Nothing comes close! Well, that and my LED mask!

What’s your favourite food?

Steve makes a brilliant lentil stew with hand-made flatbreads. Hands-down the best food ever! 

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Steve and I enjoy walks with Winston & Huxley and nothing better than settling down watching movies with good food!
